LUMO Digital is an outdoor advertising company based in Auckland, New Zealand specialised in digital billboards. Psychoactive Studios were recruited to revamp and modernise their website.
The talented design team at Psychoactive produced the incredible design, my role was to develop that into a responsive, cutting-edge Webflow site to future-proof LUMO's brand.
Revamp and modernise LUMO's existing site by building a new high-quality, responsive Webflow site that stands out from the crowd and sets LUMO ahead of the competition.
This build was part of a wider project in which LUMO approached Psychoactive to launch three updated websites. I was recruited to take on the development of their main website using Webflow. One of the primary objectives of the project was to set a high standard of quality for this website that provided an elegant user experience for their clients and potential customers.
This build was part of a wider project in which LUMO approached Psychoactive to launch three updated websites. I was recruited to take on the development of their main website using Webflow. One of the primary objectives of the project was to set a high standard of quality for this website that provided an elegant user experience for their clients and potential customers.
On the homepage there is an interactive location map. This was built using the Google Maps API and Webflows built in CMS features. This allows users to easily find information on every billboard location around New Zealand. We also created a custom style for the map to fit LUMO's aesthetic.
On LUMO's homepage there is a looping animation that fluidly runs down the homepage linking the top three sections. This was achieved with after effects and lottie animation.
We created a blog for LUMO to showcase the impact they're having on communities throughout New Zealand. This page features some really sleek hover effects.
On the inner locations pages there is a key specs tab fixed to the bottom of the screen. This can be expanded in a single click to display all of the key specifications for that specific billboard including data such as: screen dimensions, average daily audience, traffic direction and more.
On the locations page we created a really nice filter system allowing two filters to be applied simultaneously. This allows users to filter by location, orientation of the billboard and for inbound or outbound traffic.

To showcase the many case studies LUMO have produced we created a case studies blog page. Along with this we built a really elegant article inner page for each of these that is modern and clean.
I was assigned by Psychoactive Studios to develop the provided design into a responsive, cutting-edge Webflow site to future-proof LUMO's brand and enhance their user experience.
This project involved a lot of collaboration with the Psychoactive design and motion graphics team as well as meeting with LUMO's marketing leads to help bring their vision to life. The result of the project was a resounding success with the site being nominated for a site of the day Awwward.
